Looking for some medium quality wireless speakers for the the bathroom, need to be battery or rechargable. Ideally small enough to fit on a shelf.

Never found anything decent.

In fact the only ones that work reliably are the JBL items and they're mains.

I know what you mean i've been looking for ages. Just ordered a Sound Cast for the garden, so might use another of those for the bathroom.

Is it upstairs? Wireless in ceiling attached to a Sonos amp?

(just guesswork, as Plotty said there's nowt battery powered and small I've ever seen that sounds anywhere near acceptable)

Yeah if you're running it off a zone player, ceiling speakers would be easiest assuming you can get the wires in.

Ceiling heating puts paid to that unfortunately. The SoundCast looks like the best option.

If the bathroom walls are stud then you could go with inwalls rather than in ceilings.

Would a ceiling speaker be better than a wall speaker in a bathroom?

Following advice I received on my own thread a few days ago ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... I plan to connect the speakert to the system in my upstairs bedroom. But is there away I can control the volume etc from the bathroom? Or am I looking at £££ for that.

Just to clarify, I am right in thinking that I can't do the above and somehow receive the audio from my TV? MTV etc?

Thanks

M

If you've got a stud wall to locate it in then you can get in an in-wall inline volume control which is placed between the amp and the speakers.

£50-£75 all in without checking the actual cost...
