Hi Chaps

Just become new Sky HD subscriber and was hoping to add free broadband and skytalk package to help offset costs, but been advised that our exchange does not have LLU facilities so no can do.....

Having phoned Sky the best they can come up with is £10/month for the Connect service instead of the standard £17/month...

Question is whether I could/should be able to do any better ???

There maybe other LLU providers at your exchange such as O2 ... Who give a discounted connection when you have a mobile contract.

If it is at an exchange without the better LLU providers, the Connect @ 10p/month is probably the best deal you can get.

Sorry to highjack - does anyone here work for sky that could potentially resolve a complaint?
It involves me signing up recently to a tv, sky talk/line rental, broadband package only for them to change the price and broadband packages available to me having had the tv and a new phone line installed.

You should have an amount of time to cancel the contract, read the small print.

I am within the cooling off period and I've given notice of my intentions to leave - quite predictably the process is long and only done via post.

Given that a price and package was agreed it seems crazy they would rather loose a customer
than honour it. The difference is only £5 pm but out of principle I won't
be bullied into paying it!
