Philips remote control HDD DVD

My youngest managed to dip my remote control for my Philips HDD/DVD recorder thingmy, at the moment it's not working at all, assuming it doesn't spring into life soon, will one of Philips' own all in one recorders have the full functionality of the original remote (all the specific function buttons)

does anyone have a philips all-in-one and use it with a philips dvd/hdd?

take batts out, take the thing apart and give it a good old clean out and dry it with a hair dryer, it will proberbly work again
If not then the only remote to give full functionallity would be the one you have, the copy ones give you most functions but not all.
