Getting freesat on TXP42G10 working
Discussion
On advice from people on here (very good advice btw) I bought a Panny TXP42G10 recently. Its all be wall mounted and looks fantastic. I'm with Virgin at the moment but there is a satellite dish outside - I've no idea if it works or not though. Now bear with me for this part, as I've never had a satellite connection before.
Somewhere coming out of the wall is a cable with two identical connectors - a central pin with a thread round the outside, which seems to connect onto the satellite connection - after much messing around taking a grands worth of TV off the wall mount with the OH panicking in case I dropped it. I've remounted it now but when I went to set it up on the TV it couldn't find the dish, or said it wasn't aligned properly.
Is it something I can get working myself? If so, how?

If it has 2 cables with F connectors, then it is probably a Sky+ dish, and therefore should already be pointing in the right direction.

Thanks for that. I'll see what I can do with it when I've got some time off then.http://www.xtendedplay.co.uk/howto-installing-free...
