On DVD's, what are they exactly, how do you access/spott them and what films have the best ones?

(I remotly undersand they are some kind of extra??

they are hidden extras, to access them they are usualy all different, sometimes a button combo etc.. best way to find out is to google the DVD name and put egg in the search line also, generally if it has one someone has found it already.

Out of interest, why bother? Whats wrong with the menu? Or is it so some people can get excited that they found something??

They're just fun little extras for the sad geeks amongst us.

Incidentally, if (like me) you've got all your DVDs inputted on Invelos' DVD Profiler it will show you which discs have Easter eggs and how to access them.

look into the special edition memento dvd, took me nearly hour and a half to find how to play the damn thing!
