and do I need to watch everything on the sky+ box or can it be transfered?
Forgive me if im not understanding you correctly, Just like a standard sky+ box you use the box to watch the sky programs on and to record them. As for transfering them you can dump anything you record on sky onto a disc if you have a dvd recorder connected and like other sky boxes you can have it connected to other TV's around the house so you can watch your sky box in other rooms but you are limited to the same channel (or playback) in all of the rooms.

I found after a year of sky hd I wasn't watching many of the channels and couldn’t justify the monthly fee.
I'd like to get Sky HD but as I'm not interested in football, I find it hard to justify. And now that 24 and Lost have finished, I can't think of any reason to switch.
What about the movies on Sky HD - are they equal in quality to Bluray movies? How much extra are they over the basic - ie no sport - package?

I think the movie's that Sky movies show are generally very poor but aside from that the step up in quality from SD to HD really is noticeable. What about the movies on Sky HD - are they equal in quality to Bluray movies? How much extra are they over the basic - ie no sport - package?
