Would really appreciate if someone could recommend a 42" TV for £500 or under.
Or, recommend a good source TVs for me to have a look at. Tried Pixmania and Dixons online. Any others?

thanks,
Jonny.

Richer Sounds tend to be reasonably priced. John Lewis will price match Richer Sounds if they are close enough whilst offering their free 5 year warranty and free delivery - that's how I bought my TV.

LG's tend to be very good...if you can push to buy a LG Scarlet then that is one great TV....I also have a Sony Bravia 40'' which is good but does not have 1080p (only 720) for £450.

You can get toshiba's really cheap, pretty sure you could grab a 1080p 42" toshiba regza for under 500 and they come with 5yr warranty as standard.

At that kind of price, I wouldn't be surprised if the tele with the best picture quality turned out to not be a 1080p model.
