Anyone else got no sound through Sky at the moment?

I've put the TV on and have no sound through Sky. Tried the PS3 which works fine. Tried a DVD, also working fine. Terrestrial on the upstairs TV is also fine but the sound through Sky - nothing. No menu music, non of channels have any sound at all.

I tried a system health check and deliberately entered the wrong pin to see if it made the error beep, which it did and was audible. It was also working fine last night.

Is there a current problem with Sky boxes or is there something wrong with mine?

fine here on both the HD and sky+ boxes.

Try turning it off at the mains and back on after a while. Used to get a similar problem with sky+ and never bothered figuring out whether it was the tv or sky, but turning the lot off at the mains seemed to cure it.

Yep, that seemed to cure it. The usual old trick of turning it on and off at the plug. It amazes me how that seems to solve most of the worlds problems!
