Thanks to Lonny I now have the Panny downstairs, I have decided its far too nice for the Dyno cell and its going in my bedroom instead. However like many Plasma's of its age its lacking speakers, any ideas as to where i can get some that match?

Got one for the dyno cell though, A Pioneer 40 4:3 Display monitor that must have come out of an airport or train station, Defo not suitable for home use but perfect for the dirty noisy cell, and all for a oner!

I got a PW7(same screen but newer) in my bedroom too, i just use a couple of speakers off an old panasonic cinima kit i had and run long speaker cables from the screen and have the speakers mounted either side of the bed wink, that TV looks much better with no speakers attached, if you do manage to get hold of the originals for it, it makes the screen look pants!

(I'm assuming they clip on the sides or something, specific to the model of TV you have?) If so do you know the part number for them? Find that out and you can register a search on ebay. As and when someone lists some it will email you.

I have a Sony PFM42V1 480P Plasma Monitor (as opposed to Plasma TV with a PAL tuner). Reasonably rare what with it being a monitor rather than a TV. It's quite an old model now but found the matching speakers on ebay a few weeks back per the method above.

My plasma is black but the speakers I got off ebay were silver. Popped to halfords and got some of that car interior (vinyl) spray paint.

£10 for the speakers and two cans of paint. Sorted.

Good luck!

Speakers are Panasonic TY-SP42PM3W. They're discontinued so get googling, but I suspect you'll be unlucky smile
