Latest Sky Digi Box

Anyone know what the latest and best sky digi box is? i think my one in the bedroom is playing up and keeps on saying no signal found etc.

also, anyone know if its possible to connect a sky hd digibox up inplace of a standard sky unit? i know i'd need extra subscription to record etc, but i just would like to connect the tv up via HDMI instead of scart
