SKY HD - Sound is out and havent been upgraded

My sky hd box has been disconnected for about 2 weeks due to me decorating the lounge, i bought an optical surround sound system and set it all up last night, but i noticed on some channels the sound is well out and i have yet to receive my Sky HD box firmware update

Can i force the update?
Any ideas on the sound being out?

I'm afriad you'll have to wait for the upgrade (contacted SKY and they didn't know when it's available for Samsung boxes).
RE: your sound... have you played with the delay in the sound settings (i think!)

you used to be able to force an upgrade on the standard sky boxes (dont know if the HD boxes are the same).
Unplug, put finger on the backup button (on the sky box NOT the r/c)
plug back in keeping finger on the button and keep your finger there until you get an obvious 'software upgrading' screen.

Mine is out as well with the Amstrad HD box

Its not unusual to have lip sync issues on sky, there is no real fix for it.
