PC Spec for playing bluray?
Discussion
Got a few movies in the .m2tp format, playback absolutely perfectly on the PS3.
Tried them on the laptop - T5500 core2duo processor, 256meg NVidia 8400 graphics - it will not play them at full speed. I was considering using the laptop as an alernate video player to the PS3 (its got DVI out), but as it doesn't play particularly well, its got me wondering - what sort of high spec machine would be required for bluray playback?

It could be down to the codec beign used. I use CoreAVC - it costs around £8 but it is by far the best HD codec there is.
They offer a free trial, so won't cost you anything to try.
Ta - looks like a good product - it uses the Nvidia CUDA, which should make a massive improvement in the H264 handling. They offer a free trial, so won't cost you anything to try.
