Projector recommendations wanted please
Discussion
Mods feel free to move but this is a bit of a mix of computers and home-cinema and I didn't really want to double-post.
I need to replace a small pool of projectors, typical thing people book them out to take off-site to use with laptops for presentations and so on.
I know relatively little about projectors, so whilst I go off to Google and try and school myself, any suggestions on what would provide a combination of:
Lightweight/portable
HD capable plus "usual" VGA and DVI inputs keeping in mind laptops do insanely high-res these days.
"Short Throw" - I think this just means they can give a large image in a small room?
Wireless or network connectivity.
Hard disk to store regular presentations?
Quiet and cool running
Best overall vfm i.e. cheap is no good if the lamps cost £300 and last half as long as a unit costing a few hundred quid more.
Would be greatly appreciated. Essentially we want the moon on a stick.
I did wonder if a mixture of higher spec/quality and perhaps a few of those handheld "paperback book" units would be practical - though I really need to do some research on options.
Thanks in advance

Yes that meets all the criteria.. fits easily in the back of the X-Wing and if they don't like the pitch you can simply use the power of force on them.. "This is the deal you are looking for..."Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
