Aerial signal stinks - getting Freesat, some questions

Getting fed up with my crappy aerial signal which is ruining the viewing experience on my Pioneer.

There is a Sky dish on the wall outside therefore am thinking of getting a Freesat box. I already have the PS3 TV recorder thing so don't need a hard drive Freesta box....as long as I can feed the PS3 TV box via coax to the Freesat box to pick up the signal?

ETA - do I lose Dave?
