Freeview with samsung le19r86wd

Hi guys,

I have a 19" samsung le19r86wd for the back room which has built in freeview. Problem is, when setting up the channels it does not give me bbc1,2,itv or channel 4. It has all the other channels found and viewable - Five, Sky News, E4, Dave, etc etc.

Any ideas why it does have 1-4 in the EPG ? I've carried out a reset, but didn't pick up 1,2,3,4 again.

Make sure you are set to the correct country if its not set to england then the channel numbers will be all mixed up.
Are the channels missing or are they on the wrong numbers? try channel 800+
Other than that it could just be a poor signal causing the missing channels.

Cheers. Ive checked the language and its set to the UK, Signal strength is ok all other channels are on there.

No channels in the 800's or 1 through 4.

Guess I'll try calling samsung - this can't be right.

could still be signal, you will have to do a search on your local transmitter and find out what frequency the channels that are missing are on then go into manual tune and key in that frequency and see what the signal strength is. It can bo 100% for some channels yet ony 25% for others (the wonders of modern technology)
The best thing to do is to try another freeview reciever on the same aerial and see if it has similar or the same problem.
