I'm going to be putting an A/V system into the lounge of my new house so need to chase walls and install cables and sockets etc, this is the checklist so far...

1 x TV Aerial
2 x F connector (Sky)
1 x Cat5e (for future use?)
1 x S-video send (for projector, the other end to come out in the middle of the ceiling)
2 x Loudspeaker (for rear surrounds)

1 x mains to projector via fused unit.

Have I missed anything? I'm assuming all the A/V cabling can go in the same trunking and will not interfere with each other. I just need seperate mains trunking.

4 x Cat5e to projector
4 x Cat5e to screen

All for future proofing, we can sling pretty much anything up a run a Cat5e and you can never have too much of it.

The screen (TV) will be on a stand together with the sky box/dvd/av amp etc so do I really need more Cat5e for this?

Cat5e for projector is a good call - can you convert HDMI - Cat5e and back?

Yep, mostly requires two Cat5e but there are solutions emerging over 1 Cat5e.

Perhaps also a Cat5e to the projector screen location in case you go for a motorised screen in future and need a relay control of it.

your projector cabeling needs to be in the right place (not just the middle of the room), the right place is worked out by the size of the scrren you will be using and the focal length of the projector lens (there is normally a table in the instruction book of your projector). There is normally a zoom to give you a little adjustment on this measurement but it isnt that much.
