OK I saw a 46" Panasonic and loved the picture it was a TH46PZ85B model. Now I gather it is a "old" model and has been replaced by the TX-P46G10 with Freesat and the TH-46PZ8B. I can get hold of the 85B but would like to know if anybody has seen the old and the New. The "Old" set seesm to cost more which leads me to the conclusion it may have a better panel.

The "other" query is what is the Panasonic Blu-ray system the SC-BT100EB like? Any Good and will it play Multi-region on DVD?

I'm also in the market for a Panny 46", from the reviews I've read the new neoPDP engine in the G10 makes a difference and it also uses about half the power of the previous model.

I have a couple of 42" Panny's at home. My mate assures me the older ones actually do have better made deeper waffles inside the screen. I won't be changing mine put it that way.

I can relate to older being better well with SD. My old Panny PBV500 was far better with SD PQ than my new 50" PZ80B. But when fed with Bluray or HD the new one is the best tele on the market bar the Pioneer.

The BT100 is a neat little set up for the cash. Also plays your ipod and displays info on screen. Not usre about multi region. You might find more info on DVD hack sites.

We've got a couple of 46PZ81 [ Freesat ] models if youre still after one!

Well I've just bought a TXP46G10 from Digital Direct so I'll let you know how it is when it arrives.
