TV + Internet on TV
Discussion
I want to replace the TV in our family room, 37 inches will do, 42 at most. I want a TV that can also talk with our wireless network and let me surf the Internet when I feel like it - either Picture In Picture, switching back/forth or whatever. Why is this not mainstream yet? Why should I have to squint at my iPhone or drag my laptop onto my lap?
I've seen a few models experimenting with this (Samsung/LG?), but without installing another PC can I buy a TV like product that gives me this for sensible money?

hey last i spoke to you was in the tvr pages. in the end i just bought a ps3, bit fiddly but it lets me do what i want and i get to watch bbc i-player and stuff.
The PS3 Internet isn't too bad, especially if you get a wireless kb&m. iPlayer is great and you can get play tv which turns it into a PVR.Bear in mind that even a 40" screen, at decent resolution, makes web browsing a pig at anything more than about 8 foot viewing distance.
Think what resolutiom a laptop is, the size of the display, and how close you sit to it.
They can be great for iplayer etc, but for general web browing at a decent viewing distance the screen needs to be much bigger than you would imagine.
