Cant Get My Bravias To See MY Sky HD Box HDMi

I run 2 sky HD boxes and off them is a Pan THX42 and a Bravia V40 I also have a L26 Bravia

The Pan will autoswitch input when the skybox comes on

The Bravias have a HDMi search and all sorts of fancy stuff but wont see a sky box or even a PS3 connected via HDMi (I tried both Bravias)

Now Im fairly logical but this is killing me - any pointers from the informed bretheren ??

Mine's the same, IIRC in the handbook it says something like the TV will only recognise other Sony HD equipment.
