I can't see a more appropriate forum for this, maybe there should be a 'nostalgia' section..

I'm helping a friend to clear his house, he is 'downsizing' so has things to sell, dump, or give away.

One of which is a 'Decca' stereo radiogram dating from, I estimate, the early-sixties.
Main unit is a wooden cabinet with a hinged lid, containing a deck with record-stacking facility. Second speaker is in a matching cabinet.

It's in very good, though not immaculate, condition.
And, obviously, it's no HiFi - but it does have period charm.

I'm sure it's not worth much, but it's too nice to throw away, and a bit bulky for a charity shop.
Delivering it to an auction house would probably cost more in fuel than we'd get back.

He'd happily give it away to someone who'd appreciate it - and can collect (from Ruislip).

We'll probably end up putting it on ebay.

Any other ideas?

Post up some pix.
(Preferably showing the inside of it).

Some old Radiograms contain period valve amps that can be quite sought after.
(Very unlikely as it has a stacker deck but you never know).

Thanks, I'll have a closer look.
