At the moment i have a Cambridge Audio Azure 540R AV Reciever amplifier. This does its job pefectly but does not fit the the space i need it to. Can anyone tell me where i can get a narrower unit from? Mine is 430mm wide and it needs to be alot less. Any help or advice would be greatly recieced.

Thanks Guys,

Both are of great size but a little over priced for what i need. Looking to spent up to £200.

Thanks,

THIS is supposed to be very good and is only 280mm wide.

Ion Obelisk - s/h £70-£150
Nytech CA102 - s/h £100
Mission Cyrus 2 -S/h £100-£175

If Height is no problem, then consider Naim 42/90 or 62/90 both combos should be close to £200

Ion was in fact the Nytech in a better box, well mostly. Superb little amp.
Also evolved into the Moth amp range.

Cyrus 1 should also be on the list along

I recently sold an Ion Obleisk 1, with broken Aux input for £50, it was a very nice amp

Cyrus 1 always sounded thin and weedy to be, lack of bass, Cyrus 2 much better

Not huge power, but I like my little Denon DM31. Tuner, CD, 2 other inputs, 30W a channel. End of line, but they're still easily available from places like Richer Sounds, SuperFi, etc.

If you like the sound of the 540R, and a two channel amp would do a job for you, Cambridge Audio are about to release some small sized kit. (270mm)
