Got up at 8.30 Sunday morning only to find the Sky+ box sitting there twiddling its thumbs, not recording the Australian GP which I had set it to do Saturday evening. My guess is it couldnt handle the clock change for BST overnight, and it needed a full reboot to start functioning again (at which time the recording started working automatically and recorded the last few laps!!!).

Anyone else have a similar issue with their Sky box yesterday?

piece of cack.

Mine fails on normal BBC 1 sometimes, no idea why. So I always set it to record on ch 974 which is BBC1 London, that seems to work fine.

Yes and not the first time, was not a happy person even less when the BBC did not show the full show at 1pm

I'm well pissed off! I was taking advantage of the lovely weather and started pointing my stone flagging. Wrongly and somewhat stupidly I assumed that there would be highlights shown at 11pm or so, or that the GP would be available on the iPlayer or Virgin "Catch up TV". But no.

So no GP for me except a few minutes on the BBC news site. Tell you what though - those cars look *rubbish*. vomit

It was live on BBC1, repeated at 1pm on BBC 1, it was also repeated on BBC3 and has been running continuously on the BBC red button (Freeview 301.)

Eh? I'm going to have another look. I use a Virgin V+ box which, as far as I know, is iPlayer. Couldn't see it yesterday.
I'm off for a look. Again.

I used to expect problems on the sky+ with every hour change (it would record one hour adrift as if the change hadn't happened) but it seems to be OK this time and did the full GP from 6am.

My sky decided to record the live race and afternoon showing (damn series link, ignore the repeat).

I got up early and watched it anyway.

Mine simply decided that F1 is too boring and decided not to record it.

Isn't Fringe on the anytime service? you may catch it there. I'll probably be doing the same as hoping to watch it tonight when I'm home.
