Looking at buying this http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/3475913/Digital...

Does anyone have experiance of this? Is it worth it, especially as the blueray player (PS3) will be connected via component to a 46inch plasma?

Or should i leave the settings well alone!!!(I would of thought the standard settings would be already set to optimum?)

Thanks

Get it, use it, enjoy the results!
Use it on both HDMI and Component inputs, if the DVD player/recorder is going through them.
Turn off ALL picture enhancement functions when using it.
Do all HDMI inputs being used.

Alternatively, if you buy one of the Star Wars Episodes 1-3 I think the test cards to calibrate your TV to the THX standard is included on the disc.

Any THX Cert title.

Important thing with either of those routes is to do it when the light in the room is the same as the majority of your television watching.
