Samsung surround sound sync problem

I have a Samsung surround sound system that can't seem to play sound in sync. This is when it's being used through my xbox or through my sony blue ray player. The xbox is connected through the component scart and the blue ray by an optical cable. Is there any solution to this or is it just a crap system? Think it will be the last piece of samsung kit i buy.

Without more detail, I can't tell for sure..

BUT

Make sure you've RTFm'd, then set the centre, front L and front riht to the correct distance from you in your desired seat. makes a huge difference. Next, look for av sync dealy or similar, and make sure it is set.

If is still doesn't work, talk to your retailer.

It was set at 50 m/s delay so i knocked it down to 25 m/s delay and watched the dark knight which seemed ok. To give you an idea the centre speaker is only around 1.5 metres away from my seated position and the rear speakers around the same.
