Base stand for LG 42 inch, where to by, how to fit ?

I have got a LG 42in plasma and it hasn;t got a free standing base, I would like to get one but had a look at the generic ones on ebay etc and they all seem to have a bracket up to 10-12inch wide, the screw holes for the back of mine seem at least 2 and a half feet wide, is this usual ? or will I have to get a model specific one ( RZ42 PX11 ) if so where from, tried googling and not much comes up.

Any help ?

Your best bet is to search on Ebay with the LG screen part number and most likely there will be someone flogging the base as its been wall mounted. We have loads of Pana and Samsung bases but can thelp with LG!

I'm sure your LG will have standard VESA mount pitch between holes ~ see link

I have a LG 'tabletop' stand in my loft,however it is off a 50" that Ive put on the wall of my lounge,dont know if the 42" has the same stand.

I will measure the distance between the fixings and find out, how much would you want for it ? I am near Heathrow so not sure where you are ?

I will get it down from the loft over the weekend and measure the distance between the 2 uprights.
Im near Blackpool but Im sure it could be posted,lets see if its suitable first.
