i know the subject has been discussed before but there are now newer products on the line since the last thread.

i obviously want the best earphones i can afford which is a budget of £100

i'm going on holiday so want to use them on the plane and whilst skiing.

although i have a budget of £100 i've come to the conclusion that my best bet is the sennheiser cx500 which i can get for £35.

but am i over looking any other ones and is there a better earphones than the sennheiser cx500 for less than £100?

thanks

regards

si

These are earphones. Do you want headphones or earphones?

If you want the latter, then check out either the CX-300/500. I also have a pair of Etymotic HF2 earphones for my Iphone which are quite superb, and within your budget.

As above- do you want earphones or headphones?

One of the best models of headphones are sony mdr 7506. I swear by them (i am a sound engineer) as do many many others I know around the world- and plenty of A list Djs do too.
US model only, but easily shpped into the uk.
Under $100 to purchase... so well within your budget.

Then again, if its earphones you want ( you said you want to wear them while skiing, so id lay money on it being earphones..), I cant help you- i use £20 sonys!

I use Beyerdynamic DTX 50 ear phones. They seem pretty good and cost about £50 - £60.

Got my old man some BOSE earphones. Not cheap, but sound great. Should be in your £100 budget.
