42" Plasma options

I have been looking for a Panasonic TH42PZ85B for a little while now, but seeing it is discontinued now and soon Panasonic are I understand bringing out a new model for 2009. Does anyone know if this is going to be a step jump in features or more of a evolution.
I'm wondering if I find a current TH42PZ85B now do I purchase this or wait on the newer features. As with all these things when to stop and purchase is always the hassle but only just have the money now to make the purchase.
If these are not about, does anyone have any other suggestions of TV that would be worthwhile looking at instead? Think I want a Plasma more than an LCD for response times and quality for my gaming.

We're still waiting fro the new ones to arrive. Last week the HD ready PX10 series came in but to be honest i dont see any benefits over the old PX80 model. The only real advantage is that all of the inputs are now positioned on one side so makes it easier to wall mount.
If you can find a PZ85 I would go for it.
