Does anyone know where I might be able to get this quality of cable for less price laugh

I need 8m of the stuff... x2 of course. Which though not ideal, is currently my only positioning for the speakers and separates.

This works out at £50!

Do you have some then that you made?

I don't know... they seem as though they would leave the sound a bit 'empty' or lacking in richness... that is all in my perception though which is odd.

The author compares them to Kimber 4TC which I think is a great cable and retails for about £38/meter.

Using 3 runs of Cat5 gives you 24 cores so should be plenty for to carry decent current to the speakers.

EDIT: Yes, I use this for my centre speaker and when I move and require longer lengths to my fronts, I will replace my Kimber 4TC and 8TC with the FFRC Cat5 or maybe even the UBYTE cables if I can source the long lengths of heatshrink required.

Although having said that Yogi... it might be a bit above what I need. Going from the equivalent of £2.99 p/m to £30 odd might render my HiFi slightly below par silly
