need camcorder/imovie08/imac

Hi all
I'm looking for a camcorder that will work seamlessly with my imac and imovie 08.
What is the preference of mac users?
I have a budget of £150 give or take.
Not looking for anything fancy just want something that works and works well with mac and imovie08. Maybe one hour at least of descent compression recording..

Had bad experiences with Sony products, especially after sales service so i would rather steer clear of them unless they have the cube to fit my square hole metaphorically speaking.

Make sure it has a Firewire/DV port, this will work best with your Mac. (better than USB) At £150 you will only get Standard Def. You then need to decide which format, Tape, Hard Drive or Mem Card. I would go Panasonic or Sony.
