Newbie question - Blueray to bose

Hi guys - apologies in advance for the newbie question.

I have a bose lifestyle 28 (dont flame me - Im not a big fan of it either) and I want to get a blueray dvd player. What cable set up will I need to ensure I can use the blueray and the surround sound from the bose.

Is it hdmi from blueray -> bose and hdmi from blueray -> pioneer tv..??

Hi I dont think the LS28 has an HDMI connection unless you have a break out box. HDMI from BDP to TV for picture, optical from BDP to LS28 for sound.

If you have a Series 3 LS28 you could buy a VS2 HDMI upscaler unit. Takes 4 different inputs and will also upscale standard DVDs.

Then has an HDMI out to the panel
