I used to have some B&W DM603s but sold them when we moved house. We're moving to a much larger property and so I'm all excited about rebuilding my system. I can't throw much money at it but want some good quality floor standers, second hand, good condition, that will compliment my PM7200 well.

Budget £200, unfortunately.

£200 !! E-bay is a possibility but decent and sub £200 are not the most common bed fellows. Look for great designs of the past that others might have over looked

I have a soft spot for Mission 752's which you might be able to pick up at that price. They had a reputation of being pretty transparent without being too top end.

On that basis 230267201410 New Missions £250 Think there are a later closing pair at £149 later !
752 Freedoms at £100 with 10 hours to go ? 160316209951
TDL Studio 1os only £50 with similar time to close 200312126113
KEF Q35s still at £20 with 12 hours to go 270347221583
So much choice. Look for pairs near you

My Dad has a pair of these on the end of the same amp.

They sound excellent!

Those TDL's tend to be a touch bass heavy and slow for some people but might be a good match with the Marantz

Another vote for the Mission 752 freedoms, they seem to go for £120-150ish which is a bargin. I fact I've had a pair spare since I upgraded but can't bring myself to sell them for a paltry £100 cry

If you like a detailed, open mid range they are just the ticket. The freedom model also has the more refined tweeter too. If however you are looking for PHAT BASS you might want to look elsewhere, as although they go deep and the bass is very taught, they only have small drivers so won't shift massive amounts of air.

On the plus side the drive units are much more reliable than those in the larger 753's, so a well cared for pair should be a fine purchase.

And should leave you will £50 for some more CD's thumbup

Indeed - one of the very last great Missions...

Yep - Missions are the way to go... almost sold them but then realised that they are utterly brilliant - no way i'm letting them go for less than £250!!!!

If you are quick.
Great, if not very pretty.
I have a pair and love them.
