Did any one go to the Sound and Vision show in Bristol this weekend just gone?

What Hifi had a pimp 103" plasma screen up. Lovely £2k price tag too!

Did anyone buy anything? See anything you need in your lives??

£2k? For 103" plasma.... how come the Kuro 60" were 5k then?! Was it unutterable poo?

Yes, after researching on t'internet, the actual price is £37k!

WTF did 2k come from??!? Sorry chaps, must have been talking about a different model Doh.

I went and really enjoyed. Its my 7th or 8th year going and I always enjoy out but sometimes come back underwhelmed.

Highlights for me were:

Meridian 2 channel demo
Denon AV
Wilson Benesch ACTC60
PMC/Bryston
Arcam/Focal

[WZC1]

I was there - I am in the trade - the highlight for me was the Sooloos from Meridian and the HD800 headphones from Sennheiser. A good show in all and very well attended.

I went, one particular highlight for me was a pair of chaps trying to sell me a plastic table that would improve the sound of my CD deck if it was placed on it.
