Large screen portable dvd players?? do they exist??

Im an aircraft engineer working on private aircraft and have been asked a weird one by one of our owners. The aircraft already has 4 screens and 2 dvd's built in but they woudl like some portable ones for the kids to watch dvd's on. They would like the dvd players to have a screen size comparable to a normal laptop, i would say 17" or so (15+ for sure). It's totally out foxed me and i dont even know where to start looking. anyone got any ideas or links they could provide??

Use a Tablet touchscreen laptop with somthing like MCE front end on it.

Then have media server on aircraft can stream the media to them ?

that looks smart, tbh im leaning more towards a laptop, due to the issues of fitting it. It has to be a carry on item otherwise it all has to be aircraft approved which takes months and costs thousands. Cant Mod the aircraft in any way. nvm ill keep looking.

A lot of laptops will struggle to play a whole DVD on one battery charge

can run the laptop off of the aircraft power supply so battery life isnt an issue... THAT much. thanks for thought though!

For the cost though i would go with a cheap laptop and run Mediaportal or similar
