Good morning everyone , i am in need of some ideas of how to hide a power cable to my B & W Zeppelin which i plan to wall mount in the lounge . I dont want to dig into the wall as its recently been plastered and painted so the use of a race way or conduit is my option but cannot find anything other than the boring old square type.

Any one done something similar and could share the idea .

Thanks .

Monty

Aren't we past the need for cables yet?

Surely there is some wireless jobby that do without the things altogether? Trunking seems so 1970's council building, daahling.

(Just a guess, you understand)

Was looking at the new (very very thin) Sony LCD yesterday and it is 'wireless'. It has a seperate box that you plug all your sources into and that send sthe signal to the TV.

Very handy if it works well!

I just can't believe that a mainstream wireless solution doesn't exist. Last time I bought a hi-fi mag they were discussing some wireless options, and that was about 5 years ago...

We have some almost flat, think its 10mm deep double trunking, up our walls with the various cables in but it is paintable, so once we sploshed a coat of wall colour over it, it pretty much disappeared to anyone looking round the room.

We also have some white 1/2 round small stuff running the speaker cables round the bottom of the coving as this fits nicely under it and you can't really see it unless you are level with it, just looks like part of the piece of coving stuff.

As far is power is concerned? Yep, they're called batteries. HTH.

Small section of studwork. You would only have to come out a little way,and could flush mount the screen for a really smooth look.

Chase the wires into the wall? Then re-plaster that bit and repaint?
