Which A/V receiver?
Discussion
Hi all, quick question...
I currently have a Denon AVR 3805 receiver in my setup and am looking to upgrade to something that handles HD A/V content properly to send to my TV and projector.
I have narrowed my choice down to two units which are:
Denon AVC A1HD
or
Pioneer SC LX90 (susano)
Both are pretty good, but I was wandering if it was worth shelling out the extra £1k (+/-) on the Pioneer or will the Denon be the more superior product for my particular application?
It will be powering the following speakers:
B&W LCR 60 S3 centre
B&W DM603 S3 floorstanders
B&W DM602 S3 rears
REL Storm 5 Sub
Might upgrade the speakers a few years down the line to bigger/better B&W items higher up the range, but will be keeping the sub.
Just wandering what receiver to go for really. Your thoughts would be helpful.
Cheers
