Evening all.
Just sitting down to a post dinner film, and the Sky+ box has gone and had a fit. It has decided to spend the last 20 minutes trying, and failing, to find any signal. It is snowing, but that has never effected it before. I've done the usual unplug it for 10 minutes thing but to no avail. Any hints or tips boy and girls?

Ours did it yesterday, and so did a few people who live locally (error 29).

Sorted itself out about 40 mins later.

We had this last week ,again snow on the dish and lnb,I did find that it would pick up one channel after about 30 mins but when I turned it over it was back to no signal being received.

If you can reach it to clear the snow you might find you still have to reset it

If it's any help, I watched "Dead Mans Shoes" last night and it was rubbish.

As I understand it you can just pick up the phone and talk to the babestation ladies.

Just don't threaten to kill them. -Instant sense of humour failure. rolleyes

We got snow on our dish so the mrs thought it would be a good idea to smack the dish with a sweeping brush until the LNB broke.

Cable? I'm lucky I have gas in my village! The nearest towns are 9 and 12 miles away from me as it is.

On the roof?

With a broom?

She's not got a black cat by any chance?
