Got this flipping small but extremely annoying issue with Sky+.

Let's say I watch a recorded programme from ITV, or CH4, etc. At the 1st set of ads I just fast forward though them.

But, when we get to the 2nd set of ads, and press the fast-forward button; it then immediately and instantly sets itself back to the very spot where I pressed the fast forward button the 1st time.

So then I need to fast forward through the 15 minutes I've just watched, and the subsequent ads.

Does this happen to anyone else? Any solutions to stop it?

As I say - not a major issue - just flipping annoying.

Big Al.

K I've seen a new option on my Sky+HD that allows you to put bookmarks into recordings when you get to the bit you want to bookmark you press pause and then the record button and It puts in the bookmark. Is that an option on the std Sky+?

Never come across them Al, to be honest. I've just checked the settings just in case - but nuffink.

I've noticed this too, but only on Channel 5 programmes.

Anyone got any updates/solution (can't get onto other forums here at work)?

Apparently reading from other forums its Ch5 thats the main culprit (or the only one that gets watched)

Sky know about it and on digi spy people are saying that its a broadcast issue by Five them selves.

Not an ideal solution, but when the advert break comes on, press Backup then select and change the Last Viewed time by 2, 3 or 4 minutes. It only takes a few seconds and you get used to how long ad breaks are for many of the channels.
