LCD/Plasma tv stand

What are everyone's recommendations?

I DO NOT like glass! I did see a stand on here a while ago which was layered wood bent round to make a stand (Probably means nothing to anyone but me, but i know what i mean). Looked great!

Also - it must be dark wood/metal/plastic as i have a dark brown leather chesterfield.
