Bathroom Audio

Not sure what you mean by ip65 but when a friend had an install put into his bedroom, he ordered an amp that could output to a second pair of speakers installed in the ensuite. It was just a matter of putting the cd in and turning on before going in the shower etc. Maybe you could do something similar and just buy a remote control with waterproof control etc.
speaker wise, their installed in the ceiling and are safe to use in th bathroom. decent brand (not sure which) and cheap enough but sound quality aint all that, but what do you really need in a bathroom.
either that or just buy a cheap all in one bathroom jobbie.

What you're looking for exists, in many forms but for one room would almost certainly be prohibitively expensive.
If you'd be looking to extend the functionality you're after to other rooms throughout the house (assuming this is a total refurb rather than a single room refit) then it becomes more cost effective in terms of benefit.

Been thinking this over myself... best idea I came up with was a set of near field monitors frenched flush into the ceiling away from wettest areas (something like JBL Control 1s), with a Denon or Onkyo mini unit set into the wall outside the wet environment. Two hundred notes at Richer would do it easy and give something worth listening to in the bath...
