No sound from sky - Caused by the snow?

On the tv in my bedroom, there is no sound but the picture is fine when watching sky. Sound is fine on channel 1-5. However, sky is fine downstairs. Could the snow be playing a part in this as there is quite a bit sitting on the sky dish and it was fine last night? Tried a few things but no luck.

Sorry to be unhelpful but surely both come in the same data stream? If there is picture the sound is there somewhere. Has someone pressed a Mute button on the Skybox or the tv, or reduced the volume to zero? The latter is not unknown in this house as my wife refuses to use the Mute button

Happens from time to time.

Just turn off at the plug wait for 30-60 seconds then turn back on, load up... tada!

Suddenly just came back on. Just looked and the snow has fallen off of the dish so it must have been that
