Sky+ Freezing

Ive had my sky+ box for about a year now and when watching tv the box has now started freezing.
To stop this i change channel and back again sometimes it fixes it and sometimes it's a right pain in the arse and give up watching that channel.
Any thoughts of how to fix this?

There are lots of posts on the digitalspy forum about this - you may even be able to request a new box. (I followed a link to an email addess and had a new boxed installed a year beyond the warranty)

A temp fix (sometimes) is to switch off the instant rewind feature, this eliminated my freeze issue
