Is the answer just LG C4?

Samsung s90 seems highly rated too?

Any views on these two or any other obvious choices?

65 inch LG OLED for £800? Good model, just last year's stock.

If you have access to a blue light card the deals direct from Samsung are exceptional if you go down that route.

The problem with Samsung is that the quality has gone down significantly over the last few years...on the opposite Sony's has gone up. Philips in between the 2....LG...I don't know

I replaced a Samsung 55 inch with a screen that failed within a month, with an LG C3.

The screen on the C3 failed within 3 months, having a vertical line on the panel requiring replacement.

I'd rank the LG further ahead of the Samsung for quality, but I'm not impressed when the previous cheap Hisense TV I had lasted years without issue so I'd suggest one of those. They actually get decent reviews and are a lot cheaper.

I’ve just found this after my 18month old Samsung S93 died. Costco refunding but looks like Sony is the way forward (which I regret not choosing first time round).

Richer Sounds sells Hisense which is usually a decent recommendation, and the guy in the shop said they were really quite good, and in other markets not seen as much as a "cheap" brand as here.

Probably not LG/Sony level (and I'd usually include Samsung too), but maybe a very good value for money purchase.
