Smart phone external mic

I have no idea if this is possible! I want to record a video with my phone but either feed audio directly into it or use an external microphone. The in built mic is pants, the sound I'm recording is played through speakers but the mixer has RCA out at line level. I guess some kind of USB C adapter, ideally with power pass through so the phone can be on charge while filming.

Is this even possible?

I was thinking mixer rca out > convert to mic level > into phone via USB C to 3.5mm jack.

Theres lots of options here, you can feed usb c mics into most phones with the correct cable or adapter. You can even add a usb c mixer and take multiple feeds at mic and line level

However i think you might be better off recording the audio onto a separate device and then mixing the audio and video tracks together in some editing software. Then your phone won’t be tied to a cable when you are recording.

Tbh that isn't an issue. The phone is fixed to a stand, I just want to stream live (eg, on FB) but have the audio coming from my mixer (Pioneer DJM 750)

What phone is it? It might accept a line level input already

My mixer (Pioneer DJM 750) has a USB B port, the manual talks about connecting it to a PC. However, could the above cable connect it to the S22? I don't want to destroy the mixer and/ the phone!!
