Had BT out yesterday to change over to fibre. Work has to be carried out outside before they can switch over, but he did all the internal work just so it was done. Woke up this morning to no signal on the router. Rang BT and the earliest they can come out is Wednesday. As you can imagine with having three kids this is almost possibly the end of the world. We can sort the kids out as we can connect there I pads to mine and my wife’s mobile data hot spots. It’s in-fact me that’s in a bit of bother. My guilty pleasure is laying down on the sofa and watching YouTube on the tv, we only have Netflix, YouTube and all the other stuff that is WiFi dependent.

Is there any way I can watch YouTube on the tv using my phone? Any cables or apps ? I have an older I phone and the tv is a Hisense. Cheers in advance.

If you can use your phone as a hotspot and your Tv has WiFi then that should work depending on your 4/5G speeds

Yes my tv has WiFi but for some reason is isn’t picking out phones up at all. Off to curry’s in a sec see if they have a solution. BT have been a pain in the arse.

BT are, alongside Vodafone, the very worst I’ve had to deal with.
Openreach have been fine ish.

Had problems after problems with them. Last chance with them after they install this fibre.
