trying to watch itvX removes all video from my TV....!

Intermittently, although almost all the time recently, if I try and watch a programme on itvx I get sound but no video, the main problem is that when I go back to freeview on my TV there is only audio but no video.... I then have to reboot the tv at the mains and this fixes it.

Seems a very strange problem and I can't find anything on line. I have reloaded the app onto the tv and also logged out and back in again but to no avail. All other apps eg bbc iplayer, netflix etc work fine.

Anybody experienced this or any ideas?

Does your TV have a firmware update? I had this over a year ago, on a Samsung, not with ITVX, but a different streaming service. No firmware update, but a factory reset did the trick.
