My Airpods Pro 2 are good but I seem to have weird ears which means they fall out when I'm running.

I also fall asleep wearing them and they fall out easily if I sleep on my side.

Does something with comparable sound quality or better exist which somehow clip to the side of your ears but wouldn't be too uncomfortable when lying on your side? I know this sounds like a strange question! I tried different tips on the airpods and I also tried Bose QC2 but had the same problem (that and the left ear stopped working on 2 separate pairs...)

They also need to have bluetooth for phone calls.

Thanks.

Used to use Beats earphones for running, I don’t run much now because my knee is screwed but that’s another issue.

I used Beats fit pro which have wings on the buds which worked well for me but see also beats Powerbeats pro which have over the ear bands to hold them on

Thanks, just had a look at the Pros, slightly put off by Lightning connector as finally got rid of all of mine.

Also, are they ANC? Is "noise isolating" different?

Sony WF C700N are the best £100 ish ear buds I’ve had, decent fit with a few inserts included and reasonable noise cancelling.

Not as good as full over ear, but pretty good

Depending on budget, Sony are just about to release a new pair of linkbuds which may fit the bill? I have no need for another pair of earbuds, owning the WF-1000XM4's and the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC's but I'm very tempted.

I was looking for some recently and the Earfun Air Pro 4 seemed to get broadly very good reviews. They were also under £60 on Amazon, back up to £80 now...
They have ANC, along with apt-x , ldac and all the usual other BT codecs.
ANC is active noise cancellation, it monitors the external noise via the microphones and cancel that noise out.
Noise Isolation is just squishy earbuds that block out noise.

Thanks, ANC is a must, budget wise I'd go up to say £350.

What I don't want to do is sacrifice on sound quality over Airpods Pro 2 or Bose QC2.

I guess what I'm after is either of the above which stay in my ears better confused if such a thing exists!?

The ones that conduct through the bone might work well if lying on them. Haven’t tried them myself so can’t speak to sound quality

Gaffer tape - not pretty - but effective.

Jabra Alex - a real brand of quality kit. They do a clip type thing for weird ears.

Amazon prime days 8/9 as well

Thanks guys.

Dave, did look at the Jabra, I particularly like the LE Audio Smart case feature even if in reality I'd only use it the few times I year I get on a plane.

Then there's gaffa tape I guess...

Slight off topic, anyone who falls asleep in earbuds, do you wake up with blocked ears that take a bit of manipulation to be able to hear again properly!? Perhaps also time for a trip to an audiologist for a quick ear wax evacuation!

Another Jabra vote, the Elite Active tick a lot of boxes at a fairly sensible price point.

I've had various in ear, ear phones. Jabra, Samsung Buds, Bose. When one of my £200+ buds stopped charging randomly I got some Anker Soundcore P20i. They were in offer and I was impressed enough that I bought a second pair while still on offer just as a back up.

It may be that my hearing isn't what it was but for what they're used for I can't tell a huge amount of difference from the top to the bottom price point.

Thing with buds IME they're easy lost/damaged due to the size. I've had it all, even the dog getting one and chewing it to pecies. Jabra generally good over several pairs but had one set where one of them wouldn't sync to the Bluetooth so we're replaced.

I have these also. Bought after my air pod pro’s developed crackling noises in one and then the other side.

Being quite annoyed with them in general, I bought the Sony’s and found them to be pretty decent.

Certainly for music, they are levels above the AirPods. The ANC isn’t quite as good I don’t think, but still good enough and they are better all rounder than the AirPods and much more configurable.

Would recommend. Think I paid about £80 from Amazon thumbup

I've got a pair of these and can't fault them:

The sound quality is excellent, as well as the size and fit.

Here's a discount code too if you want one LFTMV9498

+1. Soundcore p20i's really are superb value for money.

Just picked up some Jabra Elite 4. They fit lovely and the sound is fantastic once I got the correct size tips.

For running, I like the LG Tone style headsets that rest on the neck. They tend to not move around too much when you are.
