You disconnected it from the mains for a bit then tried again?
Some have a button combination to press when starting up that resets everything. Google what it is for your TV and try that.
Hi, yes, we plugged it out overnight. It was still the same this morning .... it's a Samsung 55-inch from 2014, and we don't seem to have a power button. For some strange reason, cables around and HDMI ports. I have changed its the same thing even on the aerial. Some have a button combination to press when starting up that resets everything. Google what it is for your TV and try that.

Look at the power light when you turn it on and count the number and length of the flashes, these are used as fault codes.
