Hey there, just wondering has anyone had a similar problem with the smart tv, we were watching tv last night the screen went black for a minute or two with the sound Fine the green came back but it looked like this
I just want to know is it a lost cause it is 10 years old

You disconnected it from the mains for a bit then tried again?
Some tv's have a button combination to press when starting up that reset everything. Google what it is for your TV and try that.

Hi, yes, we plugged it out overnight. It was still the same this morning .... it's a Samsung 55-inch from 2014, and we don't seem to have a power button. For some strange reason, cables around and HDMI ports. I have changed its the same thing even on the aerial.

Look at the power light when you turn it on and count the number and length of the flashes, these are used as fault codes.
