Uk tv play sound cutting out

Hello, I don't know if anyone can help?

LG smart television set
Watching UK TV play, the programme is interrupted for commercials, on returning to the TV show on sound.

The only way to reinstate sound is to stop programme, resume (endure another set of advertisements) then all okay.

Very irritating, anything I can do?

I've tried watching on an old Panasonic, not a problem.

So it's the LG OLED C2 that's the problem.

I've tried this (thx for the suggestion) doesn't seem to help. Also channel 5 catch up does something similar if you pause it.

Fixed itself.

LG did an update the other day, all been okay since.
