Hello, I’ll be in an office for 12 months. No neighbours or other tenants around. I’ll be the sole person in the office. After work I’ll have an hour or two to kill.

I don’t want to wall mount anything or spend money on amps and speakers.

However I would like a nice screen and perhaps a soundbar to improve audio

I have an old PlayStation 3 that I can take out of storage to play Blu Rays and dust off Grand Theft Auto and CoD games.

Anyone have any recommendations for non-4K TVs I can buy second hand and specific makes and models of soundbars to improve audio?

Max £500 budget for the TV and soundbar and I’ll either put it back on eBay or keep the screen as a spare after my tenancy is finished

How big?
What refresh rate is needed?

I don't think many people sell TVs which are working well?

You can get a 43inch LG 4k TV for under £300 new.

Considered something like a Steam Deck instead? Just a thought if not.

Around 40 to 50 inch would be fine?

Really? I thought many people sell their old kit off when they upgrade? Any reason why you'd be wary of 2nd hand TVs?

All the major manufacturers will sell you a brand new Full HD LED TV 40-50" for £300-£500.
