Another what TV (sorry)
Discussion
My current TV must be over 10 years old , i've got £200 of Curry's vouchers from work to spend so want to top that up and get a new one.
We have 2 Samsungs already , like the menu and stuff , seems familiar
I'll probably get a soundbar at some point (my hearing isn't fantastic)
No gaming , just streaming and the odd DVD
Is this any good ?

If there's something better in Richersounds etc i'll just go there and spend the vouchers on something else. I'd consider an LG if someone can say the menu/interface is as good as the Samsung.
Thanks in advance

Like most TVs, when yours is 10 years old then pretty much anything you can buy brand new will be an improvement (some exceptions of course!), but the Q60 looked pretty good to my eyes in comparison to anything else out there when I went TV shopping recently. I'd be happy with it, if that's any help.

Has Samsungs for years before switching to a LG OLED 18 months ago (still have Samsungs in the bedrooms). Takes all of a day or 2 to get used to a different operating system… most people are using Firestick or Sky as a front end anyway. If you can stretch to an OLED they are well worth the extra… even on an entry level OLED, the picture quality is on a different level to top end LED… and man maths says £1,000 spread over 5-7 years (TV replacement cycle) is well under £1/day
Oh crumbs, they didn't have the one i wanted in stock and i couldn't be rsed to drive to guildford so with some sales schpeel and man mathing i walked out with this :
